According to the Wellness Institute (GWI), our global workers are unwell and new approaches are needed as unwellness at work now costs the U.S. $2.2 trillion annually.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many workers across thousands of companies are now forced to work from home, and according to a recent survey conducted by Gartner, a significant number of workers are likely to continue working from home after the pandemic as companies find new ways of managing costs.


How will this affect workers' performance and their physical and mental health? For starters, as remote workforces become the "new normal" for many Americans, affected workers will have to create and adjust their physical activity, eating habits, and the way they socialize and stay connected to optimize their health and well-being during the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, this situation will affect a BIG piece of the Health and Wellness continuum= isolation. Did you know that loneliness and social isolation can be as damaging to health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day?
